Closing your account
Cancelling services, deleting your account, exporting data.
Cancel a service (keep your account)
Most common path. Just don't want a specific service anymore?
/dashboard/services → the service → Cancel. Pick "end of billing period" or "immediate." See Refund policy for what's refundable.
You can re-order the same service later without losing access to your account history.
Pause active services without losing them
We don't currently support "pause" as a state — services run or cancel. Workaround: stop the service from the panel and let it sit. You still pay; downgrade to a smaller tier if cost matters.
Delete the entire account
If you're done with Suzko entirely:
- Cancel every active service first (we won't delete accounts with running services — too easy to do by accident).
- Make sure there are no unpaid invoices (open a ticket if there are billing irregularities).
- /dashboard/profile → Danger Zone → Delete account
- Confirm via email link we send.
What gets deleted:
- All personal info (name, address, phone, email, password)
- All connected OAuth tokens
- All payment methods (we tell our payment processor to forget you)
- All ticket history
- All API tokens
What stays for legal/compliance:
- Invoices + transactions — kept 7 years for tax compliance (US/EU rules). They're anonymized to a customer ID, name removed.
- Audit logs of account actions — kept 1 year, then purged.
Account deletion is permanent. We can't undelete after 30 days.
Exporting your data
Before deleting, you may want a copy.
/dashboard/profile → Export account data → generates a ZIP with:
- Profile info
- Service list + states
- Domain list
- Invoice history (PDFs)
- Transaction history (CSV)
- Open + closed tickets
- API tokens (list, not the secrets)
Email when it's ready (a few minutes for most accounts; longer if you have a lot of tickets/invoices).
Transferring an account to someone else
We don't have a self-service transfer. Open a ticket → we verify both parties → migrate ownership of all services + domains
- billing to the new account. Takes 1–3 business days.
Common for businesses changing hands, agencies handing off client accounts, etc.
